Making Space

A weekly therapeutic group for women in Newcastle

At times we can all need space – it may be free space, safe space, wild space, breathing space, talking space... This confidential group can offer you time and space to explore personal feelings and past or present issues in a safe, supported setting. It can be an opportunity to meet other women who may share similar life experiences.

The group will meet weekly for 10 sessions – including an introductory session which offers you a chance to find out more about the group and decide whether it’s for you. During the sessions we will be using the creative and action techniques including psychodrama, to help explore issues, feelings and concerns.

Group sessions will be on Thursdays from 6pm – 8.30pm beginning Thursday 16th October 2008

The sessions will be led by Margaret Bird and Edna Davis, experienced counsellors, groupworkers and psychodrama psychotherapists, registered with the British Psychodrama Association and the UKCP
