Introduction to Modern Mental Health Systems and Advances in Modern Mentl Heath Practice.
Intended for current trainees and practitioners in psychotherapy and counselling who need learn or to refresh and update their knowledge of mental health and psychiatry. In addition to didactic teaching the workshop will include the use of sociodrama and action methods.
Psychodrama Introductory Course - April 7th to June 23rd 2008
This course provides an introduction to psychodrama that can be applied in a variety of settings. It embodies action methods, which can be used to enhance the effectiveness of educational and training skills workshops and it also carries significant therapeutic benefits in its own right. It will not provide a full training in psychodrama psychotherapy but the hours can count towards the diploma that is also run by Oxford Psychodrama Group. The course is open to anyone who is interested who works in mental health, education, the criminal justice system, or management. The course combines some introduction to the theory and practice of psychodrama and its application to a range of settings.
